Skeewiff - Cruise Control

Cruise Control is the long awaited second album from primo funksters Skeewiff.
Skeewiff are Elliot Ireland and Alex Rizzo – two of the funkiest white men on the planet. Their sound fuses funk lounge and at times even rock with the funkiest breaks known to man.

Highlights on the album include the Charlise vocalled “Nitty- Gritty” and “Shake What Your Mama gave Ya” which has been snapped up by Konami for use on one of their games. “Now I’m Livin’ For Me” turns soul singer Steve Murray into a North London James Brown while “Feelin’ Fine” adds a contemporary r’n’b flava to the album.

The Skeewiff sense of humour is still there with tracks like Armageddon & Slackjaw (a hidden track at the end of the album) whilst the loungecore fans won’t be disappointed with tracks like The Bone (Parts 1 & 2) and Bootyshaker filling the void that has been empty since the last Skeewiff Long Player.
