Love Power EP

The daddy’s of the lounge-hop scene Skeewiff drop the second EP from their Private Funktion album.

The EP consists of three tracks, the first Love Power giving the EP its title. It’s a funk-filled bell-ringing screamer of a tune with a supremely catchy vocal delivered by Charlise Rookwood, who when not providing vocal duties for the Skeewiff boys can be seen rapping on stage in Killa Kela’s live show.

Husky is a cocktail-shaking, brain-baking breakbeat funkathon with vocals provided by none other than Skeewiff’s Alex Rizzo.

Soul Bossanova needs no introduction but we’ll give it one anyway. Although the original has been hijacked by the world of Austin Powers it’s worth remembering what a jaw-dropping piece of music this is which is why the Skeewiff boys have covered it with love.
