Stephanie first came to the attention of J- Funk fanatics when she dropped her funk breaks bomb Rock the Disco a couple of years back. She has released tracks on hip labels such as Sonar Kollektiv and her album Droppin’ It was released by NEWS but now she’s back (from outer space) dropping bombs on jalapeno with a smile upon her face. Anyway Nasty is another slice of funk breaking heaven with vocals from her long time collaborator Philippo. Nasty is remixed by Dr Rubberfunk who mines the dusty groove for a hook laden workout. Danny Soopasoul takes the original and adds his Soopasoul flair. Ka-Boom It’s ON.

If that wasn’t enough there’s a B-Side Dizzy featuring Jim Cole treading slightly deeper waters. Both tracks were mixed down by the legendary CJ Bolland. D’Stephanie is one of the most in demand DJ’s in her native Belgium with a DJ career that has taken here around the world.
