Fresh from dropping their compilation album, The Raid, in conjunction with the Fort Knox Five, Skeewiff gear up for the release of their third album with the release of the Retropolitan EP.
The Retropolitan EP sums up what the new Skeewiff material is all about, a mixture of cosmopolitan and retro grooves” says Elliot from the band.
“Triumph Stag is a track written with Alan Hawkshaw, a real keyboard legend, who wrote tracks like Champ with The Mohawks. It’s got a real retro funky Hammond sound. Ruby’s revenge is an Indian influenced sitar-funk breaks track.
