Silently Losing The Plot EP

After the launch of their first LP ‘Its all Gone’ Skeewiff are back with an EP covering some of their latest work.

Silently Losing the Plot is a Skeewiff blend of breaks and Jazz/Funk/ Fusion. The record was overseen by Incognito while working in a studio next door and boasts some bass playing by Courtney Pines’ bassist : Pete Martin.

Music Makers has been kicking around on dub plate gaining plays with the likes of Marian Hobbs, Norman Cook, Steve Lawler and Capital FM’s Ali B. The track was first played live at Ibiza’s Pacha this summer.

Just Do It was originally used in part of Nike's summer football marketing campaign in Brazil earlier this summer. The drums were recorded on Clyde Stublefields (James Brown’s ‘Original Funky Drummer’) kit directly after he had left the building after a drumming session earlier this year. Cuts are performed by Mista Dexter ex- Brotherhood Hip-Hop member.
