Cricco Castelli has become one of the mainstays of the Illegal Beats roster. His productions are always of the highest quality, fusing serious jazz moments with the dancefloor sensibilities of one of the most well travelled and experienced house DJ’s.
The Bump EP is no different. The title track is a bass bumper aimed straight at the dancefloor. Re-edited by label mate Kid Crème it’s a 3 AM journey that twists and turns lifting the spirit in all the right places.
The B side is Cricco’s take on one of the defining tracks in house music’s history. Citing this record as a serious influence on his production style this is a personal take on a classic offered up with respect.
